High-voltage substation
~Solving Your High-voltage substation Concerns!~
Looking to reduce maintenance inspection costs…
Wanting to lower demand charges (base fees)…
Facing recommended renovations but experiencing no electrical issues…
Unsure if an High-voltage substation is even necessary…
Services
Reducing Maintenance Inspection Costs
We recommend implementing an Insulation Monitoring Device (for details, see “Remote Monitoring System“).
① Reduced Inspection Frequency:
Installing a monitoring device allows you to switch from monthly to bi-monthly inspections by a certified technician, leading to lower costs.
② Enhanced Safety and Early Detection:
The monitoring device includes insulation measurement capabilities, enabling 24/7 remote monitoring for improved safety and prompt response to potential issues.
※ If you already use a monitoring device, we can help compare operating and update costs.
Demand Control (Base Fee Reduction)
We recommend implementing a Demand Monitoring Device and Air Conditioning Control system.
① Demand Visualization:
The Demand Monitoring Device visualizes your 30-minute demand levels, providing alerts when approaching your set (target) value.
(For details, see “ Remote Monitoring System “)
② Air Conditioning Demand Control:
The “Jel-con” air conditioning control system implements a 3-minute intermittent operation every 30 minutes for your air conditioner’s outdoor unit, effectively reducing air conditioning demand.
(For details, see “ Air conditioner control system (Jel-con) “)
Low Voltage Conversion (Switching from High to Low Voltage Contract)
We recommend implementing an Electronic breaker (for details, see “Electronic breaker (JCS)“).
① Assessing Current Usage:
We evaluate your current usage (equipment types and current values) to determine the necessity of an High-voltage substation.
② Optimizing with Electronic breaker:
If an High-voltage substation is deemed unnecessary, we install an Electronic breaker and optimize your base fee, followed by low voltage conversion.
③ Eliminating Costs:
We eliminate monthly maintenance inspection fees and periodic High-voltage substation renovation costs, achieving an electrical usage plan tailored to your current needs.
High-voltage substation Renovation and Update Construction
We recommend periodic renovations and updates.
① Preventing Electrical Accidents:
High-voltage substations have a limited lifespan, and continued use beyond this period increases the risk of electrical accidents.
② Recommended Equipment Replacement:
It’s generally recommended to replace various equipment within the High-voltage substation after approximately 15 years.
③ Comprehensive Services:
We offer a complete range of services, from partial renovations addressing specific points raised by certified technicians to full High-voltage substation replacements.

Factors Leading to Electric Equipment Accidents and Failures
A questionnaire survey was conducted from 2005 to 2006 to study the effect electric equipment has on industrial accidents. The results show that in many cases accidents and failures were caused by “Equipment-related factors,” with the aging of equipment the most common reason cited.
To properly address factors such as the “Aging of equipment” and “Deterioration/wear of part/device,” maintenance checkups or equipment diagnosis should be performed regularly. Proper maintenance measures, such as the renewal and life extension of equipment, should also be taken.
