Q&A

1. How long can Electronic breakers be used?
→ The typical service life of our Electronic breakers is 10 years.
However, the ambient temperature, humidity, and other external factors of the installation environment may affect the service life. Please contact us for more details.

2. Should I replace an Electronic breaker that has exceeded its service life?
→ Replacement is recommended. Our Electronic breakers have a service life of 10 years due to the control board and electronic components they contain.
Exceeding the service life of electronic components may lead to malfunctions or failures. We recommend replacement for continued safe use.

3. Are there any differences between the latest and older Electronic breakers?
→ JEL SYSTEM’s Electronic breakers have evolved from the initial JDB1 model to the current third-generation JDB3 model.
In response to customer needs, we have incorporated features like “current value display” and “air conditioning control function” in each version upgrade.
These features contribute not only to cost savings but also to energy efficiency for customers who prioritize it.

4. What should I do if there are additions or reductions to the equipment I use?
→ In case of additions, the capacity of your current Electronic breaker may become insufficient.
If so, you will need to replace it with one that matches the capacity of the added equipment (replacement for capacity upgrade).
In case of reductions, there is generally no need for replacement. However, if you significantly reduce equipment, replacing the Electronic breaker with a smaller capacity model may further reduce your basic electricity charge (replacement for further cost reduction).
In either case, JEL SYSTEM will be able to assist you. Please contact us as soon as you anticipate the possibility of equipment additions or reductions.

5. Do Electronic breakers require inspections?
→ They are essentially maintenance-free products.
However, if you have any questions or concerns, our 24-hour customer support line (0120-484-482) is available. Please feel free to contact us (Click).
